Our school wide concept is- CREATIVITY
Our Big Picture will be- 'Cycle of Life'
with the Big Question- 'How can we interpret our ever-changing world?'
MAJOR FOCUS: The Arts MINOR FOCUS: Science
Contexts: Seasons, Day and Night, the Earths Cycles.
Our Writing Focus will be- Personal Recounts/ Picture Plans/ Cameo Writing/ Recrafting/ Publishing and a particular focus on Transactional Writing: Report
We will also be participating in the 'Keeping Ourselves Safe' Programme.
Our mathematics programme will be- Numeracy (Weeks 1-5) ---> Assessment (Weeks 6&7) ---> Fractions (Weeks 7&8) ---> Geometry (Weeks 9&10) **approx.**
SPECIAL EVENTS:
-Parent Teacher Conferences- Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th May (Week 4)
-Student Teacher's start Monday 17th May in Rooms 8 and 10 (Week 5)
-Trip to Stardome Rooms 10 & 11 (YEAR 2) - Wednesday 26th May 12:00- 1:30pm (Week 6)
-Heart Jam - Friday 28th May (Week 6)
-Queens B'Day (School Closed) Monday 7th June (Week 8)
